Terms of Service

Effective date: June 9, 2026 · QuoteTime is operated by Barger Enterprises (Bill Barger, New Hampshire, USA).

1. What QuoteTime is

QuoteTime is a subscription software service that helps trades contractors (plumbers, HVAC techs, electricians, and similar) draft estimates, invoices, and follow-ups. You describe a job in plain language; QuoteTime drafts the document. Nothing goes to your customer until you approve it.

2. Your account

When you sign up, you create a workspace with a unique name (your subdomain). You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to enter contracts on behalf of your business to use QuoteTime.

You can add as many team members as you need to your workspace. Every person you add operates under your subscription.

3. Payment and billing

QuoteTime costs $49 per month per workspace. Payment is processed by Stripe. Your card is charged immediately when you sign up — there is no free trial. Your subscription renews automatically every month on the same date.

All prices are in US dollars. If a payment fails, QuoteTime will retry and notify you by email. If payment cannot be collected after reasonable retries, your workspace may be suspended until the balance is settled.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. No cancellation fee. No phone call, no “talk to sales.” Cancellation stops future billing. You keep access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.

After your subscription ends, your workspace data is retained for 90 days. After that, it may be deleted. If you need a data export before cancellation, email bill@billbarger.com and we will provide one.

5. Your data

Your job descriptions, estimates, invoices, and customer details belong to you. QuoteTime stores them on Supabase-hosted infrastructure in order to provide the service. We do not sell your data to anyone. We do not use your business data to train AI models without your explicit permission. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.

6. AI-drafted documents

QuoteTime uses AI to draft estimates and invoices from your job descriptions. These drafts are proposals — they are not sent to your customers until you explicitly approve them. You are responsible for reviewing every draft before approving it. QuoteTime is a drafting tool; you are the professional with the license, the relationship, and the final word.

AI drafts can contain errors. Always review numbers, scope, and terms before approving a document. QuoteTime is not responsible for errors in approved documents.

7. Acceptable use

You agree to use QuoteTime only for lawful business purposes. Do not use it to generate fraudulent documents, to harass anyone, or to violate any applicable laws. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that are used for prohibited purposes.

8. Service availability

We work hard to keep QuoteTime available, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service depends on third-party infrastructure (Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Resend). Planned maintenance is announced by email when possible.

9. Limitation of liability

QuoteTime is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Barger Enterprises is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes to these terms, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of QuoteTime after that date means you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, you can cancel before they take effect.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
